The Society is located in the Archives Room of the Lerderderg Library at 215 Main Street in Bacchus Marsh.
The Archives are open to the public on Tuesdays between 10 am and 12 noon and between 1 pm and 3 pm.

The Society received notice in November 2025 from the Australian Museums and Galleries Association Inc (AMaGA) that BMDHS, along with 20 or so other Historical groups in Australia, is an Honouree in the 2023-2025 "Best in Show" Cataloguing awards. And thus entitled to display the following image on our correspondence. The Society is very excited to be an honouree and being acknowledged for the cataloguing work done by our hardworking volunteers.
